I didn't pop into the well signposted farm shop on my way out, mostly because it looked rather busy but also because I'm lucky enough to live very near another farm shop. I am highly in favour of produce with provenance and in season, everything I've read about the Beningbrough Home Farm is in keeping with that. It's also worth noting that it's within reasonable reach of North York by bicycle if it's a nice enough day, there are plenty of bike racks. Hello!
