I can do science, me.

The Times online mentions today that GCSE Science exams need to be easier, presumably to uniformly inflate grade distributions and therefore proving that students know more Science.

Eh?

I realise that Combined Science isn’t exactly Further Maths, but it is something of a starting point for really quite a lot of technical careers.

To illustrate this, I’ve yoinked a question from the example exam paper The Times includes. It’s multiple choice, you have something like 40 seconds to answer. Ready? Steady.. Go!

    Hehe, I think an incorrect response to that question would award you a B under the new marking scheme. Hurrah!
